Monthly, Friday night Drop Inn at the Five Villages Hall.
- Sunflower Cafe
Thursday mornings at Five Villages Hall.
- Burns Night
An annual event at The Five Villages Hall, one evening in January.
- Chester 10 K Road Race
12 March 2023. Residents can volunteer for Marshalling duties at the Finger Post in Mollington.
- Easter Tree

Residents are invited to decorate the Chestnut tree on the Mollington and Lea By Backford village green.
- Chester Half Marathon
Residents can volunteer for Marshalling duties in Mollington and Lea. We present a Trophy to the first resident runner, home.
- Open Gardens

- Liverpool to Chester Bike Ride
Sometime is July. Starting in Liverpool, riders travel through the tunnel, then head down the Wirral, through Mollington and Lea before finishing at Chester Race Course.

- Pumpkin and Scarecrow Trail
Residents are invited to create their own scarecrow and display it in their front gardens for residents to enjoy. It grows in popularity each year.
- Community Gardening

Residents are invited to bring and maintain flower tubs for the Village Green and Village Pump.
- Adopt a footpath
We invite local walkers and gardeners to adopt a footpath and keep it clear. Contact the Mollington Parish Council to ask for details.
- Wildlife gardening
Encourage wildlife by helping us maintain the pond by the school. Ring the Parish Council for details of how to get involved.
